Many methods are used to eliminate panda eyes. The reason is, having black eye bags or also known as panda eyes not only makes you uncomfortable, but makes you appear insecure.

Delivered by Dr. Resthie Rachmanta Putri, MEpid ., KlikDokter Doctors in general, enlarged eye bags caused by a buildup of fluid in the area under the eyes. The area around the eye itself consists of various soft tissues, consisting of large amounts of connective tissue, fat tissue, nerves, blood vessels, muscles, and so on.

The area around the eyes is the part that has quite tenuous tissue and a lot of connective tissue, so it is able to hold fluid (and blood). In addition, this tissue can experience swelling due to inflammation so that the appearance can turn darker.

What's more, the skin lining this area is relatively thinner. Not surprisingly, changes that occur in the underlying tissue will be more easily seen from the outside.

Why panda eyes can happen?
According to Dr. Adeline Jaclyn from KlikDokter , there are several factors that cause dark circles to appear under your eyes. For example, age, lack of sleep, gadgets, gaze, genetic makeup, dehydration and sun exposure.

Not only that, poor lifestyle such as smoking and drinking alcohol can also cause panda eyes.

"As you get older, the surface of your skin will thin out and make it easier for skin problems to emerge, one of which is panda eyes," said Dr. Adeline.

"In addition, your skin will slowly begin to lose elasticity. As a result, the blood vessels under the eyes become clearly visible and cause panda eyes, "he continued.

Inadequate sleep time also makes blood flow to the eyes not smooth. This results in the accumulation of blood under the eyes so that it becomes darker and swollen. Because lack of sleep can cause the body to become fatigued, the face becomes the most visible gloomy and dull.

An easy way to get rid of panda eyes
To get rid of panda eyes, dr. Adeline explained several easy ways you can do, such as:

1. Eye compresses
In addition to reducing the swelling due to panda eyes, eye compresses using ice cubes can also make the muscles around the eyes relaxed and not tense.

You can wrap ice cubes using a cloth, then compress your eyes for 5-10 minutes every night before going to bed. This cold compress can reduce the widening and discoloration of the blood vessels under the eyes.

2. Have enough sleep
As mentioned earlier, minimal sleep can make eye flow not smooth. Therefore, Dr. Adeline recommends that everyone have enough sleep, which is 7-8 hours every day.

If you experience sleep disorders, try to do relaxation before going to sleep, such as meditation for 15-20 minutes. Keep the device away from your hands when you are in bed.

3. Drink water
Consuming at least 8 glasses of water per day can help you avoid panda eyes. Not only that, regular drinking water can also make the body healthier and prevent dehydration from coming.

4. Use a tea bag
Take advantage of used tea bags to improve skin tone and reduce eye swelling.

The trick, prepare two used tea bags, then dip the tea bag in cold water for about 10 minutes. Next, attach the bag to the eye. Let stand for 20 minutes, then wash your face with water until clean.

5. Use eye balm or eye cream
Use a special eye lightening cream. The skin around the eyes is different from other body skin so it needs special lotion. Do not forget to avoid direct sun exposure and be diligent in using sunscreen.

After knowing the methods above, surely removing panda eyes is not a difficult thing, right? If you want instant results, you can do a laser to help reduce dark circles on the eyes. However, before carrying out the method that drains this wallet, make sure you consult your doctor first. Good luck!
